I rented there for over a year...Thought they were all nice and good, until I moved out...YEs, I broke my lease, but I paid the lease break fee and gave mt 30 day notice...About a month and a half after I moved out I got a bill from them, not the check for the deposit that I was expecting...No, they billed me for replacing the carpet in the apartment, what a scam, they said I had a pet that urinted all over the carpet, when I told them I didn't have a pet, they said it was my kids, as if I'd let my kids pee all over the carpet, come on now...Parking absolutley sucks for guests...They did come in a lot for inspections and such...The rent was way too high...I have the same amenities, actually better with a two car attached garage and better service for 1/3 the rent...Don't get blinded by the newness of these apartments!!

Same MO. The Lewis Homes management philosophy is to steal money from renters coming and going. The carpet is the cheapest grade and will literally come apart. You will be charged for a new carpet installation of over $1,800 which is over the security deposit. What really happens is that they do not change the carpets for the next tenants and just shampoo the carpet. They are stealing and they could do this because they will not let you in to see what you paid for! Lewis Homes is a bunch of thieves and should be called as such for not only unethical behavior but actually stealing from renters.
