The gates are usually broken and when they are, all kinds of devious and criminal types roam around. I am leaving because in a short 8 months, my son and daughter's bicycles were stolen along with our wrought iron chairs, my BMW got broken into twice, my wife's Audi got its paint job keyed and all along the staff at Jamboree couldn't give a crap about safety of renters here.

Anyone telling or posting here saying this is a safe place is lying and probably works there. Don't trust anything that these Jamboree or Lewis Apartment people say because they are liars. My neighbors on both sides have had enough of the "convict" life here at Jamboree. Don't move in here.

I wished I checked the Megan's Law site and went in to see the Sherrif's station to see where all the child molestors and sexual preditors are before I moved in. This is not a good place to live.

I agree. The front office staff is run for show and not helpful. Security? what security. Anyone claiming to be happy are employees who get free rent. they work at Jamboree or neighboring company owned complexes.

ACTUALLY, i know for a FACT that staffers do not get free rent and that lewis doesnt pay people to write reviews. Some people are just not going to be happy where they are no matter what happens. And DUH if you have kids i would have checked out Megans Law site before i move in anymore, but you are just using that as an excuse now b/c you are one of those who are never happy. Yes, I have experienced a few problems at Jamboree but nothing like I have read here and some of it seems made up and dramatized for effect. Just wait until you move somewhere else that is worse..only then will you realize what you had!!

WOW! There is so much lying going on in some of these reviews. My name is Walter Cheeks and I live at the Jamboree Apartments, and "NO" I am not an employee. I am just a happy resident and have been for years (I just renewed my lease for the 3rd consecutive year.) The Jamboree Apartments is a great place to live. There are lots of families with kids living here and my neighbors are very nice. The maintenance staff is very nice and professional and I have never had a problem that wasn???t fixed in a timely manner. The front office staff seems very nice, but to be honest I don???t have any reason to ever go to the front office except to drop off my rent check every month, so I really don???t spend much time with the people up there. I do spend lots of time talking to my neighbors on the weekends and have developed so good friendships while living here. I love the sound of children at play and you will get a lot of that on the weekends as there are lots of children here. However, it???s surprisingly quiet during the week because most of the kids don???t come out and play at these times. I take my Maltese dog Gizmo on walks around the complex several times a day and it seems like every time we go we meet somebody new. Hey, it basically comes down to this, I love living at the Jamboree and maybe some of these other people didn???t. But I find it hard to believe there wild stories of roving gang members and out of control crime. If you had a bad experience at the jamborees just say what happened, tell the truth and stop making stuff up. Sincerely, Walter Cheeks ??? MRX@charter.net

While some of the stories may be the rants of delusional minds...I can say watch your kids closely in this area. While the details of my personal experience involving my child are not appropriate to post on a public board, I do believe there are some safety issues that need to be dealt with here. Bottom line, watch your kids, listen to your kids, and act appropriately as an advocate when the need arises....and this is anywhere one lives!!! I would not rent here had i known 2 years ago what I know now!!!! FYI Mrcheeks I am not a lying delusional individual with wild rants...this community has some safety issues (as with all communities, to be fair). Speaking of ghetto...yes there are worse places to live--where the crime is equal to the area and rent price--but the area and rent price here is NOT equal to the lifestyle the community boasts....I have lived ghetto and had more positive experiences than here!
