I'm sorry that our family ever got involved with this place. They were very warm and accomodating prior to move-in, then the Jekyl-and-Hyde routine began....no service (even for major appliance break-downs), rude staff both in the office and on the maintenance crew, hateful attitudes all around. I'm actually getting mad thinking about all the crap these folks have dished out, so I think I'll stop and just say that, on top of a long list of complaints such as the ones above, the worst part is the way we were screwed out of our deposit and charged enormous fees on top of that, to the tune of over a thousand dollars. They claim we urinated on our carpet, maliciously destroyed screens, didn't clean the place properly, etc....all of which are not true. These are trumped up charges which I plan to fight. They bank on the fact that the renter cannot prove otherwise...it's simply their word against ours. By the way, if you live here, expect two move-out inspections. The first one will be done by a flunky who tells you everything looks fine. Then, they bring out the second-string flunky who goes in after you've left and lists the charges they feel you owe. Save yourself thousands of dollars and a mountain of stress and find another place that is not associated with Lewis Apts.

Sounds like nothing has changed since we lived there 2005-2007. I hated it. I was so happy to come back to my house in Texas. Our adult son lived here while we were temporarily relocated to So. Cal. And we lived in Plum Tree apartments in Claremont Ca 2002 and WE LOVED THAT PLACE! It is all about the management. Jamboree employees, well most of them, are just awful. There were two maintanence people who were great. But the front office people were just horrible and Maggot the tow truck driver is a little midget from hell. I am so happy to be back to MY house and MY yard and MY garage and MY driveway!!!!!! We have totally remodeled the house, granite countertops kitchen and all three bathrooms and wood floors throughout and marble entry hall floor and marble fireplace. I LOVE MY HOUSE!!!!!

we are moving soon and i am so glad! I guess we are next in line to get screwed....I plan to video the apartment and how it looks if we have to court. The urination thing, they take a black light and find areas that could be urine BUT blacklights show more things than urine. They can show cleaning products, mold, etc. When we moved in our carpets were filth...so if they charge me, they will have to send a sample of the carpet , accompanied by me, to a lab. I wouldn't put much past these money hungry folks!
