I have mostly good things to say about my year here. The few maintenance problems we had were taken care of within a day. The Equity website makes it very convenient to put in maintenance requests and check the rent balance for the month. Luckily I haven't had any of the problems with parking that others have experienced, probably due to the building I live in. Plenty of extra parking.
My main complaint the entire time has been noise, whether it be from the landscapers being loud and roudy and having a good ol' time at 6am when some of us are still asleep, or people having loud conversations walking down the hallway and slamming their doors. It's very booming and shakes the whole buliding when they do that. Very inconsiderate. Our upstairs neighbors like to stomp around. There's not much management can do about that, but I did contact them about the loud landscapers, and that problem was fixed. The location of the apartment is great: I don't have immediate neighbors to the front, back or sides, so no noise through the wall.
A decent experience overall, and I'm only leaving because the lease renewal was way too much.
