At least show some interest

They seem to hire the hottest girls they could find. I give them that. But I don't think they are really committed to the job.
I came and visit the property. I found it attractive. I thought the leasing office is pretty nice, nicer than that of Ironwood next door. I filled out an application, paid the $35 or so for it, and I scored 10/10 on it. I was very excited about renting here. The location is nice and somewhat classy to me, there are restaurants right by the gate. I like the idea of having an island in my kitchen as offered. There were on top of my list for sure.
But they didn't seem to really want my business. They only called me once to let me know of an availability. They didn't even reply my email. They know exactly what I'm looking for, yet I have to call them to inquire about each and every one of the available unit I saw online. Some did match my needs, but it seemed like I have to call all the time to find out. One time I was invited to visit a unit, only to be told that they don't show an apartment after certain time, while I arrived right on time as agreed. I didn't even receive a call from them apologizing for it.
I wasn't even a resident yet and they ignored me. Imagine how it would be like after they secure my business for a year. Thank God I didn't sign with them.

I had a very similar situation with the office staff at the Reserve. About 2 weeks after I moved in I inquired about a garage in my building since the parking here is terrible. The nice lady at the front office pulled up all the available garages and there were none in my building. However, she did try to sell me a garage that was TWO buildings over. After I kindly declined I asked her if I could be put on a waiting list and informed when one opened. She told me that they don??????t use a wait list system for it and that they have no way to check to see when they open up. She suggested trying back again every week. As I gazed across her desk I noticed a pad of Post It notes sitting there and I thought to myself "Yes you do have a system, it??????s called a Post It note. Slap one on your desk, computer, door, etc.. that says that Tenant X wants a garage in building 17 and check once a week if one opened up for them". So I would agree with you that this is not the place you want if you are looking for good customer service.

to add to my comment up there, today they dropped the bigger one bedroom (the Benton) price to $1000/mo. the smaller one (the Freeman) dropped to about $960 i saw yesterday. today it's listed as "Please Call". I'm sure the economy must have something to do with it. But perhaps it's the lack of enthusiasm on their part too.
boy i was willing to pay almost $1200 for it a couple of month ago.
