I honestly don't understand why everyone complains so much about these apartments.
It's seems one of the big issues for people is parking, but I personally haven't had a problem with that. I only have one car, and I have an assigned carport that is conveniently located near my apartment.
The noise is not really bad at all. None of my neighbors play loud music, or yell, or any of that. As a matter of fact, the walls seem pretty thick here, because I've never heard a single noise from the family (that includes small children) that I share a wall with. The only noise "complaint" I would have is that sometimes it sounds like the people above me are stomping around. But it's not all the time, and it's not something that bothers me. It's one of those things where you look at the ceiling and say, "Geez".
The community itself is really nice. Great features, awesome fitness room. Someone else said something like it reminded them of staying at a resort or something; it totally feels like that for me, too. Plus I love that I can walk right outside the gate and have burgers, smoothies, and Chinese food all right there in the parking lot. There's also a ton of great shopping right across the street.
As for the ladies in the office, since so many people had complaints about them; I don't have tons of experience dealing with them, but they have always been friendly and helpful. When there was something that needed taking care of in my apartment, it was done in a timely manner.
I don't know if everyone just likes to complain or what. Maybe none of these people have lived in a REAL crappy apartment before. Perhaps I just got lucky and scored an apartment in a decent part of the community. It beats me. I love it here.
