I loved my apartment at Cortesia. I had a one- bedroom. It was very clean, loved the carpet and appliances!

My biggest problem was moving in. On my move-in day, I got a call from Cortesia, literally as I had just packed up my U-haul in San Diego and was walking out with my keys to drive up to Rancho. It was the office saying my apartment wasn't ready for move-in, could they change the day. On the day I was moving!!! I explained that, No, I couldn't, I was on my way to drive up. I have no where else to live. They actually got mad at me for being upset and not having anywhere to go when it was their fault! They ended up giving me a garage to unload all my stuff into, and a different (EMPTY!--no bed etc) apartment to sleep in for 2 days. Then I had to make all my friends and family drive back two days later and reload all my stuff out of the garage and to my apartment I had originally rented. It was such a nightmare, hastle, and expensive to re-rent and move with the Uhaul. They hassled me when I asked to be have at least the two days I slept in the "temporary" apt. removed from my rent that was due. Absolute nightmare.
