So it's been over a year here now, and I'm updating my review.
We renewed our lease 2 months ago, and the rent has gone up a hundred, yes, $100 dollars since the last lease. I was shocked. The ladies in the leasing office now aren't like the original leasing consultant... these two are... well... DULL. I swear to you, these chicks don't have two IQ points to rub together.
Anyway, the parking situation back in the rear of the complex has gotten quite bad. We don't see the empty parking spots anymore. On top of that, we're seeing more and more 18-20somethings drinking in the parking lot and now, THROWING SODAS at other cars. Who the hell taught them to show some respect for other peoples' property'
The grass is still a dull brown even after all the rain we received this year. The upkeep is awful, and the maintenance guys - well.. if the complex ever responded to my service calls, I'd have some input on their workmanship. All I see are these little golf trucks driving around the complex all day long, blocking traffic and basically just getting in the way.
The neighbors.. thank god the couple living across from us are total sweethearts, and the people below us are great too. The rest of the neighbors.. well... one of the ladies runs a shady childcare, and there's kids running up and down the stairs, even at night. Then there's the upstairs guys, who apparently has a band or something. No talent, and complete disregard for a thing called SLEEP. They'll be jammin' until 3am sometimes.. and well, while I imagine that practice makes perfect... the little twerp should've stayed in mommy's garage if the band needed to practice THAT much.
I still stand by my old review, this place *is* better than a lot of others, but there are a lot of better communities out there. It may not be in RSM, but who cares, this city is going to crap anyway.

Why sign a new lease with the $100, obviously not as bad as you say!
