We lived at Sky View a short time. We had to move and you should have seen how their attitudes changed towards us. We had always paid our rent on time and we saw our commitment through, but it is time to move. I agree with the comments about the lack of parking as there is not enough and there is never any open spots after 7 p.m. The garages are smaller than other apartments and so we were limited on what car could park in the garage. I don't think it really mattered because most of the tenants use the garage for storage.
They are doing a big renovation on the place and the inconvenience is tremendous. They give a notice at the last minute and expect you to work around their schedule. The manager has issues with kids. He sent out a letter reprimanding all children for riding their bikes, razors, skateboards,etc. I have not even seen that many kids doing that stuff, but we see lots of adult kids working on cars and hanging out in the garages.
I am not impressed with the management at all. The lady next door said that they would be moving soon since they got a big rent increase and the management wouldn't budge on it. She said it was a 5% increase to stay another year. Why bother' If you are going to be treated like crap and have to deal with idiots, it is better to move. They like to argue and tell you what the law says, but they are sadly uneducated and misinformed. Can't wait to get my deposit back...I am sure I will be fighting over that too.
Don't live here - They will promise you great service and never deliver.
