Parking is a huge problem, so horrible that people park in red lanes. Many -------- live here with their ENTIRE FAMILIES, their kids, grand children, grand parents... I even know of an old man who sneaks into the garage to sleep at night because there isn't enough room for him in the apartment. The complex is DIRTY and OLD... I'm talking COCKROACHES and MICE. I'm serious. There is a LOT of crime. I see a police car in the complex almost every night, but they are never here when you need them. I came home late from a long night of studying and I even got hassled by police when I'm just a quiet student at a top 10 university. The cars that park in the parking lot consists of workers' trucks; including gardner trucks, shuttles, and tow hitches. In general, this place is cheap and attracts a really bad socioeconomic status and I am so glad we are finally moving. My boyfriend used to visit me here, he drove a very expensive car worth over 100,000 and someone attempted to steal it. To make it worse, COCKROACHES and MICE. I'm serious. I could go on and on about stories of crime... and it only has gotten worse over the years. Here's one last story. They say that in the "ghetto," people don't call the cops. A couple was fighting, really yelling near by. The girl yelled, "you think someone in this place would really call the cops'''" and they never came... I can't believe this place even exists in such an affluent area... right down the street from COTO and accross the street from RSM High school...
