It's unsafe and dirty.
No one in the management office cares about anything.
Any complaint is met with attitude.
They care only about collecting the rent and keeping a minimum 'body' count in the apartments for their occupancy numbers so corporate will continue to give them their bonuses.
I'm in the industry, I know how these things work.
It won't get any better with the staff on site either.
------ and the rest of them should be fired. When you move out, make sure to read up on your tenant rights (easily found on the internet) for what they can and can't charge you for. Document everything and take pictures.
Do NOT be afraid to take them to small claims court.
They count on people being afraid of doing it and afraid of losing. Don't be!
Fight back.
Contact the corporate offices.
Take pictures of the violations.
Write down dates and times.
Don't let them continue to get their bonuses for being rude and uncaring. Unless people write to the corporate offices and fight back... they'll continue to get paid and will continue to not care.
Provide photos, dates and times to back up your issues.
People pay a good dollar to keep a roof over their heads and don't deserve this kind of treatment. Maybe contacting one of the local news agencies to do a "slumlord in the OC" segment would be a nice way to get things moving.
7 on your side! You can email them your issues and if they get enough... they will investigate.
What's better is, your management can't retaliate against you for voicing your opinions and expecting basic housing rights from the community you rent from.
Tell your neighbors. I know I will be.

Read this poster's comments again ------. He/she references the office staff as being "rude and uncaring," that you "care only about collecting rent and keeping a minimum body count," and that "any complaint is met with attitude." I would guess that "what you've done" to this resident has something to do with being rude and uncaring. The "attitide" part is pretty obvious considering the tone of your response along with your other posts on this site. In only one sentence you've provided a perfect example of what this resident is warning people about.
The complaints about the staff are all the same ------, and every time you open your mouth you just make it worse. When are you going to learn?
