Cypress Garden Apartments is not a choice place to live. Due to the open grassy areas, tenets with dogs allow them to run unleashed in the community, and do not pick up their droppings which disturbs other tenets. Management is not helpful in the matter and problem neighbors seem to be a majority of the tenet population.
Because of the "motel-like" buildings with dark, covered hallways, the facility as a whole does not appear safe. The first floor tenents do not have fences around their patios and this brings more oppertunity for first floor tenent disruption due to neighbors and unleashed dogs.
The complex is not peaceful. It is common for the tenet youths to park their cars and drink in the complex's parking units until late hours. Their unruly activity may disrupt the peace of the community. Also, dog owners allow their dogs to bark. Animal control for the city has taken numerous reports from concerned tenents.
The buildings do contain asbestos and you must sign forms in aknowledgement of the risks of living in the complex.
All problems listed here have been addressed to the manager on site with no avail or reconciliation of the acts. This is as of Sept. 2002.

Wow, I hope you've moved out of this place. I don't think anything could make you happy except owning your own home. I guess some people just need things to complain about.
