Couldn't agree more with the previous postings. We have had 2 cars vandalized/burglarized in the past year. Management refuses to accept any responsibility for these incidents. We pushed hard for security cameras to be installed-- after all, they aren't very expensive-- but management claims that they "can't do it." I took my complaints all the way to the regional manager for the Irvine Company, who was polite, but of course, no actions were taken.
The second incident with our car happened recently, and the cops came to take a report. The cop actually said, "No security cameras yet, huh'" and we said, "Nope, they're too cheap to do it," and the cop said, "Figures."
Don't move in here. It isn't SAFE, and it isn't worth all the headaches you'll have to deal with as a result.
Oh, and when you tell the managers that you feel the complex is not safe, and someone could really get hurt, they will say, "We live here too, of course we care about safety." What they don't tell you is that they live there because it is free for them to do so.
Whatever you do, don't leave your detachable face plate stereo in your car!
