I am surprised at some of the negative reviews here. I have lived at Franklin St. for just around 3 months and love it (I moved in at the recommendation of a friend who lived here for 2 years). The management people are very nice, as are the maintenance staff. Also, when anything breaks, they are there the same day to repair it. I am not sure what security issues people are referring to...it is a secure building and each apartment has the option of using their alarm system. I looked into apartments in Menlo Park but couldn't find one with a/c and washer/dryer in the unit (coin operated laundry...um...no, thanks!). I have had no parking issues....very easy to find street parking, in the event I don't feel like parking in the garage. Oh, and I LOVE the location - just a few blocks from Whole Foods, Safeway, Starbucks, movie theater, the library, tons of nice restaurants, and the farmer's market on Saturdays (all within walking distance). The rent is high but you get what you pay for.

just wait buddy...we had a great first year - the next two were hell. You have lived there 3 months, we lived there for 3 years...I hadn't written a review but now I think I might have to.
