Illegal Substance Problem
From: -Anonymous-Date posted: 3/31/2009
Years at this apartment: 2008 - 2008
Just to a warning for prospective tenants: I alerted the Manager Erica that my roommate was using and had sold drugs out of our apartment on at least one occasion that I knew of. I moved out promptly after finding a new place, but Erica refused to release me from the lease until a new tenant had signed on (since my ex-roommate wasn't qualified to cover the rent alone). WHAT'! I'm telling you that there's illegal activities going on and your response is, "Well, you signed a lease, so there's nothing we can do". Never mind that on that very lease it states that no illegal substances are allowed on the property or your lease would be terminated. Erica refused to return my phone calls for almost a month, and then when I came in to sign off the lease (after finding a replacement roommate), she had the gall to act like nothing was wrong. Nice management skills.
