I lived here recently (01/08) therefore I have had experiences with the new management which is much worse than we have ever had at Sequoia apartments. All he cares about is his property rather than the comfort and safety of his tenants. He has raised the prices to a crazy amount to get rid of all of the low income people and try and make this a luxury apartment but it is still far from it. Here I will start a list for you...
-The pool got a new gate, and they recently remodeled the storage room into a fitness center and none of the lower income people in the apartment got a key
-It is impossible to even swim in the pool because all the kids in the building plus a numerous amount of their friends occupy it any time it s hot
-If you are a female and you decide to go tanning by the pool think twice. The pool is surrounded by apartments and perverted men will stare at you and talk to you no matter how old you are.
-A roof completely caved in on a neighbor of mine on a rainy day (the building looks new and shiny but it is really waiting for the next rainy day to cave in on an unsuspecting family.)
-it takes foreeeever to get your deposit back and you don t get the full amount
READY FOR THE WORST PART....someone pees in the elevator EVERYDAY...right in the crease under the door so it s harder to clean out. Its human pee too you can tell.
-Even after all this if you still want to move their, don t ever let anyone park in your spot or any others because it will get towed even if it s your spot!

I DO NOT RECOMEND THIS PLACE!
SAVE YOURSELF AND LIVE SOMEWHERE ELSE!!!!!

We have lived here for a long time now and I completely agree on everything you said. I would however add that this place is very old and infested with mold. A fresh coat of paint will cover it up, only to grow back after you move in. This place is TOO expensive and we are ready to move. Manager is a complete douche, he is so unfriendly and will never say hi to you when walking by, even if you say it. The laundry room has a drain on the floor that always overflows with raw sewage. Anytime an article of clothing falls, you might as well throw it away. Also, the pool is opaque, they have not cleaned it in so long, worste part is that its SUMMER!
