1. The parking is really bad if you have more than one car. The "free" parking spots are scarce, however there are more at the very back of the complex but it can be a 10min walk, 5 min drive to your car.

2. Since the complex is huge (3000 apts at least) repairs, gardens issues and general follow up may take a while. I've had a few things go wrong (garbage disposal - 3days, washing machine 2 days)

3. The managment does not tell you until there is only one month left on your lease as to what your rate will be if you choose to renew. This is a very short time to discern whether you need to move or not. I am pretty sure that it increases (from prior tenants) but you are not aware of how much.

4. The walls are paper thin. I hear my neighbors stomping upstairs all the time. The management cannot solve this problem, their approach is ask that they be present when the noise begins. Very difficult.

5. For the value ( Rent is $995 for one bedroom, $35 for washing machine, $30 avg for PG&E, $30 for garbage & water) it is not bad. The apts are roomy, and some of them have new carpets. You can have pets.

6. The amount of speedbumps is insane. Their is practically a speedbump every fifteen yards.

7. There is a little bit of a thug element at the complex. Cars have been broken into, and sometimes the pools can be a meeting area for some sketchy people. I don't know if they live at the complex or just wander in.

Overall, it is not a bad place to live but these are some concerns that you should be aware of.
