Years at this apartment: 2005 - 2006
 
I've had a quiet one bedroom with a fine view for 18 months. Only one other unit on my level. That comfort and view outweighs disadvantages such as mindless security, occasional honking horns, and inconvenient mailbox.

They did, however, go up on the rent 15% at the end of the lease.

I haven't seen the crime or sex offenders. And I also somehow got away with ZERO deposit! She must have been new.
