I have lived at Bella Vista since May of 2008. I signed an 18 month lease so I could get the move in special they had going at that time. Everything was fine at first. However, our garbage disposal broke, took thema month to fix it. I had to leave numerous service requets. Every month or so you receive a notice on your door stating that management and some other city people will be coming and doing inspections. This is not a problem, but when you don't even know when they are coming in, it is. You are allowed one parking spot. For those of us who have two cars per family, the other car gets parked way far away if your lucky. Sometimes there isn't even parking and your forced to park in a red zone only to fined your car has been towed.

Here is the BIG problem. Last month I forgot to drop my rent in the drop box. Ok, I signed the lease if the rent is late you get charged a 5% late fee. I understand this and it's my fault for not putting the check in the box on time. However, when I did put the check in the box (one day late) I came home from work to find my check stapled to a piece of paper stuck in my door!!!!! Anyone could have came up and took my check, then they would have my bank information. I called the leasing office and the only response I got was "Sorry miss, I'll talk to the security who left in on the door". I could not believe this...you would think they would spend $0.40 for a stamp to mail it. My lease is up in November and I can't wait to get out of here.

I feel you. To add on it, they send notice at your doorstep to embarrass you with your neighbors that you haven't paid the rent on time. I believe there is a law of confidentiality. They should not serve notice that way.
