The Tides

 

Having never lived in an apartment before, I was expecting to deal with noisy neighbors, maintenance issues (things breaking), parking issues, and the inconviences of living in such close quarters.

I have been very pleasantly surprised.

Have not heard any noise whatsoever from neighbors below or next door, have had no maintenance issues (everything works fine), and have had pleasant exchanges with my neighbors, all of whom appear to be professional and friendly types.

The grounds are beautiful, the amenities are great (I use the gym and business office regularly).

The pool looked a little crowded over the last hot weekend, but everyone seemed to be behaving well.

I love the high ceilings and open floor plan of my apartment, which makes if feel much bigger than it is.

While my assigned parking space is a bit of a walk, it's nice to have it, and my visitors have always been able to find parking.

I'm looking forward to the rest of my tenancy at the Tides and will be sad to leave.
