I moved into a downstairs studio that's patio faces Iowa Avenue. I loved the floorplan and the grounds but my apartment was broken into and everything I own was stolen. The overall appearance of the complex is so nice but be very careful, make sure you have renters insurance expecially if you live in an apartment that is so close to non busy streets. My apartment was a haven for thieves since it was downstairs faced the quiet Iowa Avenue and was hidden by many trees. I would even suggest purchasing an alarm system if you own anything of value that can't easily be replaced. The management is okay but rather lazy and indifferent to such issues as safety or problems. But I can say I never had any repair issues or problems with rent etc. The rent is reasonable but in my case the savings I enjoyed was mute since I spent nearly 2000.00 replacing my stolen items. After living there a year I gave notice and am glad I did. Two months prior to moving my car was broken into twice and while I learned my lesson not to put anything worth stealing in my car the cost to replace the window (2 times) wasn't cheap.

Riverside is growing but like most "big cities" it's very small and word gets around. If the management has any interest in stopping these negative reviews it would be a good investment to hire full time security and I don't mean a donut eater that doses off listening to the radio but a full on security company. As nice as the complex is to look at if they made it a safe place it would be worth paying more. But from the other reviews they don't seem to care so my overall review: Keep Looking!
