Nice Community....Great Manager.....Extras to move in!

Lived here for almost 2yrs now. Managers has changed over since Ive been here. Previous Managers were apartment dwellers who did nothing to help the apartment complex. New manager had to come in after here and clean everything up. Nice quite community, however it does get heavy traffic from individuals walking in and out and hanging around. There is an occasional issue with tenants/police. But overall Ok neighbors. The apartment itself has some issues. plumbing, water pressure or water being turned off without being told. There is gnats that seem to come from no where. Always have an issue once weather warms up and they disappear by fall. They renovated the complex starting in October 2008.With new paint to the buildings and trim. Removed awning coverings to the front townhomes back patio and removed wood that was there for many, many, many years. left no protection to washer/dryers in back. Winter was horrible as it lead to flooding and mud in the back patios and there was always the worry that our washer/dryer would break. The only protection we had was to cover our appliances with a tarp and these appliances were only about 3inches off the dirt on top of a concrete slab.
Manager is awesome right now. She will take care of issues all you need to do is ask. She will get someone out to fix issues within a day or so. If it is an emergency she will get some one out immediately. I have heard of a few apartments having issues with their cooling system and of course airconditioning is an extra it is not requirement.
My one issue with property management is that due to the real estate market the rental price was lowered to move more individuals in. Unfortunately individuals who were already paying rent were not granted the new prices. All new renters were given lower rent (about 200 less on all apartments) were given, first month rent free and this is the best part, FREE GENEROUSLY SIZED LCD/PLASMA TVS! All to attact new tenants. That's fine and all but when 1 tenant is paying rent for a certain size apartment and the rent on a even bigger sized apartment is lower then theres there's an issue.
There are a few rough looking tenants in here, but overall the community is good. The manager is wonderful and friendly.
I would recommend to rent here...well now with rent prices lowered and all the extras that you get.

Current Tenant as of july 2009
