I have only lived here for six months.

During my very first week, my apartment storage room was broken into. My neighbors also had their storage room broken into. The cops had to be called and a report was taken by the Riverside Police Dept.

The new management company has taken over and has put out nothing but rude notices pertaining to rent being paid ontime, NO personal BBQ Grill allowed, etc... They spelled out all the coming changes such as upgrades to counter tops etc, along with the unspecified price increases.

The notices are not the problem. What is the problem is the way in which they are worded and written, short and cold, making everyone feel like they are not valued customers. The takeover notice was put out "AFTER" all the other notices. This staff needs to go back to school and take a few courses in HR Management and Business Writing. There is a way of getting a point across without being rude.

What this new company needs to realize is that there are plenty of other apartment complexes, just as nice, in the area who are willing to treat their tenants with courtesy and respect.

If it wasn't for the tenants here these managers would not have a job. I work for a company where customer service is highly valued. Every customer, no matter how much they spend is treated with respect and courtesy. My company reminds all employees that our customers are the ones who sign our paychecks.

Businesses are in business for the customer, not the other way around.

If you want don't want to be treated like crap then stay away.

P.S. There are transients that roam through the garbage dumpsters.
