I am not the type of person to complain about anything. I work in customer service and understand that you can't make everyone happy...well Colonade shame on you. You should try to make at least 1 person happy!! I have talked to all of my neighbors and NO ONE is renewing their lease. Some of the residents in my building have been there for years and are so unhappy and disgusted by managements mistreatment that they are leaving.
They had to repaint our building so we had to remove everything off our patio for a month. I have had a BBQ and my patio set in my living room for a month!! Then I receive a letter stating that I am not allowed to have a propane BBQ on the patio or I could be fined or terminated'!' I brought my lease to new management to show that the lease I signed said I can have BBQ, they acted shocked that I actually keep my original paperwork and rudely said thats fine I can keep it. Then they have repaved the parking lot like 3 times since they have taken over so to find a parking spot has been a mad house!! Also while repainting the building they painted my doorway. I walked out of my apt. to go to work and my sweater and hair touched the wet paint and it was all over me!!! I looked around no one in sight and no wet paint sign!!! I had to turn around take a shower to get the paint out of my hair and rush to work (and yes it ruined my $60 sweater) I was an hour late to work. As soon as I got there I called management to inform that 1) how unprofessional it is not to have wet paint signs and 2) they owe me either $60 or try to have to dry cleaned out. The girl NEVER apologized and said Oh my god, that almost happened to me today when I walked out of the office!!! HUH, seriously'!'!' Then she said well try to clean it out and if it doesn't come out I will see if we can do anything'' It was never taken care of to this day and I have been there twice and everyone says they will look into it for me. Then since they have repainted my garage door mine is now broken. It has been broken for about 5 weeks. I even wrote on the memo section of last months check my door is still broken 3 notice to management and nothing still broken almost 2 weeks later....but the check was cashed. I am right now trying to call the management about fixing my garage door and it goes straight to a recording stating that my call can not be answered at this time, not even a machine to leave a message. There are rift raft that hang out in the dumpsters. One night at about 8pm I went to take my trash out and there was a man inside the dumpster digging for cans and I screamed because it scared me to death. I took off running and will never take my trash out at night ever again. Since the new management got rid of the night patrol there it is scarey!! My lease is up in December and thats the best christmas present I have ever gotten. Do your self a favor and stay far far away from the Colonadde's!! What a Joke!
