New Managment Makes Living Here Undesirable.

I agree with most of the other posts that since the management changed, the quality of living has decreased. Every other day there was a flier on the door saying this and that about how rent was due on the first of the month and warning not to vandalize the property. It was very insulting for someone who was a good resident and paid rent on time. The one flier I didn't seem to get was about how they would be doing work on the outside of the building. It was a scare to wake up with a contractor on my patio. I never saw wet paint signs either the whole time they were painting the complex. (BTW - It's an ugly color)
I was relieved that I was already planning on moving out in two months. When I did move out, I was told they would only charge me to clean the apartment since they were remodeling it. Two weeks later I get my refund check for the deposit minus the cleaning fee. Sounds good. Except for when I call them concerning another matter and Jennifer tells me that I owe them more money for paint and carpet because they decided not to remodel it. Am I the only one that thinks once they sent me a check, they can't change their minds' I asked to speak to Heidi (the manager) and she told me that they can revise the security deposit refund and there was no time limit on this revision. I honestly believe that she thinks this is right by the law.
Again I'm happy I moved.
