UPDATE: I have been told I will be receiving my full deposit back. Have been speaking to Chris, he's been very helpful.
My husband and I moved out of Colonnade July 4th. We didn't receive our refund until today, August 12th. We got back a whole $6.90. I spent 3 days cleaning the apartment from top to bottom after we had moved all of our belongings out. Our apartment had not been remodeled yet so I assumed we would be getting back our whole deposit since it was going to be completely redone. As far as noise and the appearance, I don't have any complaints there. We were in the far back corner and had no problems. I'm going to be calling tomorrow to dispute the charges. Also, I'm pretty sure there is a law in California that the landlord must refund or send you out a bill for security deposits within 21 days.

I got most of my deposit back less cleaning charges because, I think, I insisted on a walk through prior to handing over the keys. However, your story is probably more common.

I live here and I recommed NEVER living here--It is VERY noisy! The management ignores complaints. Pool closes at 10pm but there are people in the pool area after hours having sex in the Jacuzzi--office ignore my complaints!!
