The apartments theselves were very nice. The environment was mostly nice. There was an incident where the police had an area blocked off and no one in the office would let us know what happened because " it was no concern to us". I read about the attack in the newspaper. We did have some neighbors that were pretty loud, but I could deal wit that. What I couldn't deal with was the management team. If you asked the people in the office a question, you would get a different answer fro each person you asked. It's like the right hand doesn't know what the left is doing. They would lock the coputer lab when the office closed, even though it was suppose to be open 24/7. Everytime I had an issue, the answer was "oh, call back" or "whoever handles that isn't here" or "umm, I'll give you a call back." A guy who worked in the office once told me that he forgot to pay his gas and his water was cold, so he use to use vacant apartments to shower. The final straw was when I had a 3 day notice on my door for non payment of rent. I paid my rent and even looked on line to see if the check had cleared. It had. So when I talked to someone in the office, they said that they would look into it. Then they tried to tell me it was for the previous month (which had also been paid). These people are a joke. So finally I said to hell with it and I broke my lease. Then come to find out, there were other tenants with the sae proble and if you paid with a money order and didn't have the receipt, there was no way to prove it and you had to pay again. I'm glad I moved.

YES! I had the EXACT SAME problem!!! The office informed me that my rent was never paid, so i wrote another check, with a late fee added. Then the front office cashed the FIRST check--the one they said they never received! AND cashed the SECOND check!!! I had my bank statements, and even had my bank contact them, but they gave me such a hastle, I had to have my lawyer contact them. Once they heard from him, they refunded me my second check ASAP. It was sooooo freustrating! The whole problem took a week and showed how unprofessional they are when it comes to dealing with money.

The same thing happened to us pretty much. Couldn't pay the whole rent. Gave them $900 instead of $1040 and they returned it since it wasn't the whole payment and tried to evict us. we broke our lease and booked it over to DiRenzo where we were much happier
