Not A Place You Can Call Home

The new apartment manager and leasing agents are so fake especially the girl name Trina. They put on this front pretending to be all friendly and tell people how fabulous the environment and these apartments are but that's just so that they can get you to sign a lease. Trust me, I fell for it. First off, to tell you the truth, there are a lot of vacant units here because people are moving out and no one is moving in. My entire building was vacant for 3 months, so what does that tell you' I am so sick of them nit picking about things. They tell residents that people can't put bbq grills, furniture, bikes, plants, or patio decors on the patio. WTF''' How do you expect people to call this place a home if they can't even personalize it with patio with plants, furniture, and decor' This place doesn't even provide people with a place to store their bikes so of course we leave it in our patios for easy access. They don't even have big enough storage closets for people to store their bbq grills. They say bikes on the patio make the place look ugly and they want you to shove your bikes inside the apartment. They think that because bbq grills and bikes are in the patio the place looks ugly and that is why people aren't moving in so now they want everyone to make their living area ugly by storing our grill and bikes inside. How can we call this place home when we have store bikes, plants, and grills in door and basically explain to our company ever time about why it is that we have to store the bikes and grills inside. Then they are trying to scam people on signing a lease for a garage. They have a bunch on vacant garages that no one is renting because they placed a note on people's door telling them that the garage is only $75 and you can store stuff in the garage but don't trust these people. As soon as you sign a lease to get the garage they do a garage inspection and then you get a notice telling you that the garages are not storing units for your bbq and bikes and that only a car is allowed in the garages. So then now your stuck with this garage for a year and your bbq gril and bikes are back inside the apartment. They basically want people to clear out the patio area so that it looks like no one is living comfortably. Secondly, the office and maintenance team have a slow response time to emergencies. There was a flood in my apartment and it took them 3 hours to respond to my call and by that time my entire apartment was wet including furniture and personal items. They didn't even accommodate me or apologize for the inconvenience. It took them 1 week to repair the problem and clean up the mess. I kept telling them that this was an inconvenience and they were telling me that they are really busy with other problems so basically I had to wait around for them and everything was done on their time. My neighbor had the same problem with a flood in his place too and the same slow response occurred and his things were all damaged. And thr part that pisses me off is that we call them plenty to remind them and get a current status about things and they tell you they will take your number and name and get back to you..well, every time the days ends at 5:00 and still no call back. Lastly, there is a lot of theft here. My car and my neighbors cars have been broken into several times. Where are the security guards' They don't have security here....I have never seen guards walking around and how can your neighbors keep watch for you when there isn't a lot of residents living here anymore. But anyways, don't take my word for it....just sign a 1 year lease and experience it for yourself. I have heard from my friends that windemere and di renzo are better places to live. Don't trust castle rock either because I have a friend that lives there and that place is also run my the same people that handle colonnade.

I dont think that you should rely on a unhappy resident that is oviously not happy...unlike her there are many residents like me that Love Colonnade the staff goes that extra step to try to help and ofcourse they are not god...so they cant offer us the world...When I moved here I was offer a nice cozy apt. and that is exactly what I got I love the gym has attach cable televisions which make it great at my time of working out..we are offer a great pool with bbq's right by the pool,I really dont get where this unhappy resident would post such mean comments ...specially about the leasing manager trina I think she is great very happy always smiling and gets things done right away...

They put a note saying the same thing to me. To get my kids bikes off the patio that it makes the apartments look ugly. Which IS BULL CRAP. don't get me wrong the apartments are nice inside nice gym and pool but not being able to put plants bikes bbq on the patio is dumb. Then they tell me to buy a garage, why buy one when they are probably going to tell me you can not have your bikes in there. Its a bunch of crap.

I don't understand why we aren't allowed to make this place our home. Plants are an essential part of a home, and being allowed only two or three is ridiculous. Also, since we pay for this place to live and we try to be good neighbors to each other, we should be able to at least store our BIKES on our patios! Those are NOT hazards, and to me, they make an apartment complex looked lived in and happy, rather than deserted.
