Stayed here when transitioning b/w undergrad and gradschool. Here you go:
Advantages of living here- walking distance to Kmart, Staterbros., UCR. Close to 91, 60 fwy. Cheap for size of apt. Large rooms with tons of closet space.
Disadvantage- WRONG SIDE OF TOWN. Yeah, it's close to kmart, but I also saw someone shooting up in that shopping center and ppl try to jack stuff from the grocery store all the time. It's right next to a middle school so you'll be able to hear their 7am schoolbell, not to mention the train. Laundry machines almost always full, parking lot has strange people wandering around it, but space availability is fine. You can hear people in the complex working out their domestic disputes and I swore there was a pimp living next door. TERMITES- yes had these bad boys flying around. office people told me that they would put me on a list and that once the list hit 6 ppl, they'd call some guy out b/c they said he worked half an hour away. Also, our balcony had severe water damage, and we were in danger of putting our feet through it- they fixed that , but months later and because everyone else had that problem as well. I don't recommend it- rent a house nearby for cheaper so you don't have to deal with bad ppl/apt/management or better yet, stay on the other side of University.
