I lived at Esplanade for 8 months. After I left they said they had to replace the carpet in my apartment and had to treat concrete underneath because of stains. They wanted $2,000.00 from me. I went back to the apartment and found the windows open and nobody living in there yet. The carpet had not been replaced and did not need to be. I went to the sales office and requested to walk the apartment with the maint. manager so he could explain why the carpet was still there. The letter they sent me had a bill attached showing the carpet had been replaced two weeks before my visit. The staff did not want to help me. I became loud and then they went to the apartment with me. In the end they said it was a mistake and refunded my deposit. Do not trust these people. Video tape the apartment before you leave so they can not rip you off.

I absolutely agree. Except I got screwed because they will not refund my deposit. Do not trust them, the new owners just want a new style carpet in all of their apartments.
