Esplanade at Riverwalk
< | >
Four months after moving out I received a letter from a law firm, Gary J. Gough of Laguna Hills telling me I owed over $500.00 more due to the carpet being replaced. I lived there for 6 months and they are charging me for 5 years of live on a 7 year carpet. PLEASE. They kept the entire $400.00 deposit and are going for more. I would like to get new carpet every year at someone else's expense, but life is just not like that.
Stay away from this one. The end cost is a lot more than just a monthly rent.

I hope you didn't pay it! For others, tell them to take you to court and prove it, but tell them you are going to subpoena them first and require that you inspect the apartment first to take pictures for the trial. Additionally, tell them you are going to counterclaim a/g them for fraud and will seek punitive damages.
