I lived in Futura for about three and a half years. We have been through three managers since then. Make sure the manager does not tell people your personal information or let strangers know where you live. There is no maintenance man so you have to wait around for the owners to come and fix stuff and they are only at the property on Mondays. It is very inconvenient. The manager is very sneaky and a liar. I have caught her in many lies. She doesn't seem very educated, either.

The landlords are slum lords. They don't make any improvements but are quick to raise the rent. my rent went up twice since I lived there. It is sooo hot all year round because it is poorly insulated. There is no A/C, just a swamp cooler. My door had air leaks and some of the doors didn't shut all the way, and the water was not hot! If more than one person needs to take a shower, you better hope you aren't the second person. My neighbors to the left and right were great though! I never heard them and they were very nice.

If you ever get bugs, all they do is purchase bombs from the store and try to exterminate themselves. They are too cheap to hire a real exterminator. My unit came with a fridge. It broke so I requested another one and that one was defective as well. I finally asked for a brand new fridge and they told me they had to give me a previously used one. They are such cheapskates. I guess the owners want to make as much of a profit as possible. The building seems to have been built in the 40's or 50's!!

I had a lot of problems with a neighbor and so has another tenant. One unit full of college kids played their Mariachi music or hip hop until 4am one day. When I called Cristina (manager) she said she couldn't hear it and she lived right next door! All she will tell them is please keep it down. I just moved out and THANK GOD!! I couldn't be happier with my decision to move.


I can say that the grounds are kept up nicely and they do keep the pool immaculate. That is about all I can say.

This review is bulls hit. Cristina is a very nice, caring manager who will take care of all problems quickly and efficiently. Futura is a nice place to live. Clearly whoever wrote this review is an ungrateful bit ch.
