This complex is actually called "University Iowa Gardens" (not "Garden View Apartments") with addresses at 3996 Iowa Ave, and 1255 Everton Pl.

Gated complex with rates a lot lower than some of the other apartment complexes in the area.

I rented a 3 bedroom apartment for 10 months, and eventually moved out because I didn't like my roommates, and so I could live with my partner. I moved into a 1 bedroom apartment in the same complex with my partner. Great price if you split between 2 people.

2 buildings, each with its own laundry room and pool. Gated community, and gated parking. Night security patrol. The manager and maintenance staff are very understanding and do their best to keep things working smoothly.

Cannot hear neighbors in their apartments
- Can often hear people talking outside

Central heating/air conditioning. Ceiling fan in dining area.
- Apartments not very well insulated, central air unit located on the roof in direct sunlight, may become costly to cool in summer :(

Water is paid by the complex, water heating included.

Private patio for first floor residents.
- Patio is small. 2nd-floor balconies are for decoration only.
