Really! Don't be fooled by the low rent prices. There are many reasons not to rent here.

1. The actual owners live in the OC and don't care at all.
2. The power hungry maniacal manager is bitter, rude and lazy. She also believes she has the divine right to interject herself in all aspects of your personal life.
3. The complex looks run down and is one of the few apartment complexes in canyon crest to have an awful crime problem.
4. Roach and ant infestation.

Mostly this complex suffers from horrible management. When I lived there I would talk with other residents and the general consensus was that it would not be a horrible thing if she died of old age or retired. Do not rent here as the management is very unprofessional and will make your life a living hell.

Also read the management responses to the negative posts. Lets summarize their position.

1. We can't fix anything you don't tell us about.
2. Yes the building is old and the walls are thin.
3. If you and the management don't get along it's because YOU did not follow the rules.

This is total garbage, The management hands out a packet of rules when you move in. However these rules are not EQUALLY enforced. In fact the management often accuses people of violating rules with no proof. Often it is just on the word of other residents who bow before their divine apartment god. Whenever something happens the manager starts handing out the blame. Usually you'll get a poorly written ambiguous notice on your door or a phone call or a nasty message on your answering machine. Basically she wants you to go into her office and break down, admit wrongdoing and beg her for forgiveness. Where are we' Communist China'

Basically there are three groups of people living at this apartment. Students, Families and Spies. If you are a spy for the management it means you're either related to her, sleeping with her, or constantly in her office brownnosing. Why should residents pay rent and then be forced to bow down and a$$kiss. The ONLY people rules apply to are those who don't respect her divine authority.

Want to know how bad this apartment complex is' Shortly after I moved out (no I was not evicted) I was playing World of Warcraft and some random person was complaining about thier horrible apartment complex and manager.. LO AND BEHOLD THIS RANDOM PERSON ALSO LIVED AT GRANADA PUEBLO. LOL! This place is a joke.

Basically if you run a public records search on this complex and its manager you'll find that the manager is a divorcee with a $hitload of debt. It's obvious that she's had a hard life. So with an apartment complex so full of undergrads and grad students and people who actually are looking FORWARD in life, the manager is bitter and spiteful of these people and favors the working class peons and the elderly.
