Years at this apartment: 2005 - 2006
I've lived here for about a year now and have had very little to complain about. The property isn't brand new, but the units are nice and cozy, and are in good repair. They have some "rehab" units that have updated flooring, countertops, cabinets, etc. They are very nice. I actually live in one of the older apartments. It is clean, and works well for me becuase I don't really feel everything in the apartment needs to be new or under 5 years old. Everything works well. We had a couple problems with the heater when we first moved in, but the maintenence staff was able to fix it and it has worked well since. The A/C works great.
The property is landscaped nicely with shrubs and mature trees. The pool area is on the small side (by Southern California standards anyway... if you're used to having three-pools in one apartment complex you might be disappointed) but it is clean and maintained well. The staff is helpful and polite.
Contrary to what earlier reviews suggested, there are few apartments in the area that are as nice for the same price. The location in convenient to the 91 Freeway and shopping. It is not in a rich neighborhood, but part of a middle-class neighborhood. I feel safe at night, but there is the occassional garbage digger or bum. They are rare, as management is proactive in throwing them our and keeping them out.
I'd reccomend it. You can get nicer, but you'll pay plenty more.
