I found the apartment while getting ready to move form Florida to California. Put down my deposit and application fee before seeing any reviews. Truth is I love this place. Didn't actually tour it until our move in date. I live on the second floor and love the slated ceiling and huge open kitchen. We have two cats which were welcomed. Didn't know there was a $250 per pet deposit fee until the day we moved in (only sent for one pet) but they worked with me to pay the other $250 over a few months. The office staff is really nice and available when I need them. The whole community is gated and my husband and I each have our own cars and never have trouble with parking. There is 3 laundry mats, 5 hot tubs and two pools plus a really nice playground. I love how three of the hot tubs are next to the laundry mats and are gated in for a small swimming area I bring the 5 year old I babysit to. I'd recommend this place to anyone. They even told me my apartment 3 months before I moved which allowed me to start giving it out to family and friends. LOVE THIS PLACE.

Just a word of advice, be careful when swimming in those pools because at least once a month someone's kid takes a dump in the pool. Stay in the laundry room at all times or your clothing will get stolen. Make sure you have a good car alarm because they have a lot of car thefts and security is a joke. Make them put everything they tell you in writing and when you have issues, which you will, make sure you put it in writing. Also if you get coupons from restaraunts in with your name on it make sure you only dump that stuff in your garbage. The day I moved out of that place I had dropped a coupon and forgot to pick it up. Well someone else did that same day, ordered a pizza to my apt I had moved out of that day, and then robbed the pizza girl!! Also, they were able to tell you what apt you were gonna be living in because they have apts that sit unrented for so long. I hope your not in 106. Somebody died in that apt!!

I agree with anonymous, The management staff really sucks. They are horrible and will lie on you. But if you have an eviction with a large judgement like quite a few do and cannot rent anywhere else these people will rent to you in a heart beat, a run-down apartment, in a bad neighborhood with lots of panhandlers begging for money, bad maintenance, and charge 25 a month for parking an extra car, 30 for a gate remote, so others that do not pay can wait until you come to get in, many shared entrances, yep, poop in the pool, the mail room sinks like pee pee, and you are not allowed outside after 8:00 p.m. the heating is attached to the water heater, air is central, no hot water in laundry, homeless people digging in trash constantly, 15 per month for trash, and the light bill also includes city taz and sewer, So you pay sewer and trash, oh this is another fact, when people miss a payment on the 4th of the month notices are put on the door face up so that neighbors can read it along with your 75 dollar late charge, and a 3 THREE DAY NOTICE, watch out for mold, and remember evicted people don't complain, that is why peppertree loves evicted tenants to come to rent. Believe me anomymous is so right this is a sorry place for sorry people where sorry people work.
