i have lived here since june of 06' and in that time the apartments have seamed to get worse and worse. first it started with the neighbors lettin their dog go up to my door and piss on it and then in turn make my dogs go crazy,, wich managment didnt care about... next it was the parking i lived right across from the leasing office and if u want parkin u have to be home around 4:30 or else ur screwed and my husband never had parking because some utlity truck use to take the spot and still the office didnt care,,, next it was the notices for the water bill that i wasnt even awear of when we moved here, that a company called ista would hold that account, so we never recieved a water bill and here im thinkin that riversdie public utlities would deal with that and the water gets turned off and we get a notice saying pay it or move out,,,, so after that it seamed like the place began to become runned down they use to power wash the halls and then it stopped so now the halls are so dirty i had my mom complained about it to me.... and after we first moved in we found out that they like to turn ur water off without warning and then u think that u didnt pay the bill and u find out that its because some pipe broke and they have to fix it,, and their favorite thing to tell people is " we put a notice on ur door" ... then it was the neighbor above us playing gutiar at 1 in the morning i had to call 4 times to get that taken care of and the last time i called i think the only reason why it stoped is because i threatond to break lease with my husbands orders ..... well all this stuff i can live with its waht happened next that really irratated me... so my husband is deployed to iraq and im 9 months pregnant getting ready to deliver and i wake up one morning to a constant ringing of my door bell and its court summons that we are being evicted for not paying rent for 2 months,, so i freak out and go straight to the leasing office and tell them hey i payed the rent for both months whats goin on and they tell me the first month my check bounced and i told them its funny that u say that cause i just came in here and u guys told me everything was ok that it didnt come back bounced to u,,, and then they said well beings that bounced we didnt even try to take out this months rent we just automaticly disregarded your check and i told them so how was i supposed to know about this and they said through 3 day notices that i had received 1 the previous month and then one that month,, and then when my mom called they tol her they mailed me one wich i had never recieved and that it pretty much wasnt their obligation to inform me that they werent taking my checks any more wich may i mind u i payed the rent and never missed a payment the hole time we lived there,, they told me that they were suing me and that they had even went to my door knocking to tell me that they were goint to do this,, well thats really funny because i had been sick the hole time i was pregnant and never went anywhere befor night time,,, so let me just tell u they are full of it............... so the girl tells me pretty much that she doesnt believe me and they dont care & that if i can go get a cashiers check and give her the last two months rent then i will just have to pay the legal fees beings they had filed the suit against me and i could stay their or i could just go to court and move out that day ,,,, so of course being 9 months pregnant i went and got the check for the rent cause i had no problem paying it,, the thing i had a problem with was paying the legal fees that were theirs not mine.... so i call base legal and tell them whats goin on and they tell me that the apartments have to send the 3 day notices certified so they can confirm thaat i got it,,,, so when i go to give them the check i told them if i could get my 2 checks that they had never returned and a copy of every notice they had sent to me so about a half hour later they bring me one check that says no checks written on it and one "3 day notice" copy that doesnt even have the correct dates on it like thye were just back there making it that hole time,,, and to top it off u could tell it was a copy of the orginal not a copy of a copy... so i take it and the girl tells me its nothing against u but the more people i can get the rent out of the better i look at my job i just collect the money,,,,,,, so pretty much these people are con artist and luckly for me i had my husbands orders to break contract and base legal to help me out with the law suit... but for most people they dont have that and if they did this to me,, with them knowing the situation i was in imaigne what they would do to some one they couldnt afford a legal advisor.... its sad the property could be nice i loved the house but the enviorment was horrible and that made the house bad,,,,, im just telling u beware and never trust anything they say cause they will swindle u just like they tried to do to me ......
