Where to begin on the horrific experience I have had with Pinnacle Riverwalk, and in general all BRE properties. To begin with, I wanted to make sure there was an actual 24 hour security company on the premises, 24 hours a day 7 days a week. The last BRE property I resided in swore they had constant security, 24/7, and Pinnacle Riverwalk expressed that they for sure had 24/7 on-site security. The most recent experience I have had, I found out from Brinks Security (which is a joke in itself) is only on the premises from 9 p.m. until the early hours of the morning. The parking situation when I first moved in wasn't as bad as it is now. When I come home at 11 p.m. after 14 hours of school and work, I have actually clocked the average distance I have to walk from my car to my apartment being near 1/2 a mile. Friends brand new cars have been towed for being in uncovered "residents" spots for 10 minutes, but for the last 11 days I have been battling with Brinks Security and the leasing office to have 2 eye sore cars towed, which have no plates, no tags, and flat tires parked directly in front of my apartment. The hours of the leasing office are extremely off the wall, and whenever you call you are almost ALWAYS sent to voicemail. BRE Properties does not have a direct line you can call and speak to someone to complain, you have to email and wait patiently days for a response. The maintenance crew begins their work at 6 a.m. with EXTREMELY loud hedge trimmers and blowers. Being that most people living in an apartment complex work and go to school awkward hour, this awful to be waken up to hedge trimmers at that hour. The parking garages are priced at gouging prices (since they know their parking situation allows it), and there is a serious, serious ant and spider problem that has not been attempted to be fixed. Erin was the only office personnel I respected, and now that I hear she is gone, I know it's going to be a holy war to have any problems resolved.
