WONT be renewing my lease

Years at this apartment: 2008 - 2009
I signed a year lease last June and will NOT be renewing. I have no problems with my actual apartment, everything works and I like my full size washer and dryer, but the community is crap. I signed the lease because of the amenities that were offered like the security gate, pools and gym.
Well, they no longer use the security gate because people kept pushing it open, so we are constantly getting notices about people having their cars broken into, not to mention people wandering in and digging through the garbage bins. We're on a busy street right off the freeway so be prepared to have weird people walking around the community at all hours. Don't walk alone at night. There is no security. After complaining to management they really didn't offer any apology for the gate and said it was too expensive to keep maintaining and that they were not going to hire security.
Our neighbors window was busted out on his car not too long after they stopped shutting the gate at night. Some idiot also pulled the fire alarm at one in the morning, and their "on call" maintenance guy didn't show up for an hour after we called the maintenance line. No apology from management. We also regularly wake up to find out water in the whole community is being shut off for construction, with a notice the DAY OF taped to our door. Very inconvenient. Management always has an attitude when you call to ask why you weren't given notice, and they never give you a set time frame when water will be restored.
The fitness room is always either closed, or the equipment is broken. It took them six months to get some treadmills fixed and no one follows the gym rules, always kids running around in there. The jacuzzi is never hot.
And there's the parking issue that everyone talks about. Two parking spaces, one covered and assigned, the other wherever you can find space. There are never visitor spots open, and visitors WILL get towed if they park outside of visitor parking. It's a far walk from our apartment to the "visitor" parking lot that is actually a scary blocked off maintenance storage area that I wouldn't want to walk through at night. I usually get in my car to drive visitors back to their car, and then drive back to find my space taken usually.
Management is lazy, and unprofessional. I would not recommend this community to anyone.
