The worst thing about Spruce Village is the incompetent and rude Management (specially the property supervisor Karen Smith). The onsite manager is great but the managment company is terrible. I was suckered into getting an apartment at Spruce Village due to 1st month's free rent. There was a water leak during the first month which took 2 weeks to fix. The noise from the train at night is annoying. The main piece of equipment at the gym and the stairs to my apartment were constantly broken. Had my car tires slashed once. When I left the place, they reported me to a collection agency, even though I WAS THE ONE OWED MONEY. When the collection agency tried to clear it up, no one was available to clarify. After numerous attempts, they sent me my check (4 months late) with no apology for trying to ruin my credit history.
