Sterling is a comfortable place to live if you are a student, who enjoy a friendly atmosphere. However, feeling that you are appreciated as a resident is almost impossible. The manager, who I have seen ----- at work, ignore residents, unable to comprehend the problems I am presenting to her, and simply chooses to pawn me off to a leasing consultant. Further, the manager is loud, brass, and is rarely there. I've gone into the office on numerous occasions for help regarding my parking situation, and I am usually told that the manager is out for the day (mind you, on a Tuesday, around 11 pm) or is out at lunch (which several times for over 2-3 hours), or taking a cigarette break outside of the office, and refuse to speak with me because she is on her break. The resident events are usually mundane, I've seen the manager and bookkeeper taking shots and drinking while on the job! Either way, my experience at Sterling have been relatively good, except for the incompetence and lack of appreciation from the manager.
