I would not recommend renting from Sterling if you are planning to share a room with a partner, as it's a bit over priced that way. Somehow, some way, my room came out to $950 a month total because we've doubled up. I'm a little bothered that we have to pay an extra $100/month to have two people in one room, but still share the same utilities cap, but it's not that bad. Worst we had was $3.17 per room in utilities. No biggie.

But I definitely could have rented somewhere else for cheap, and not had roommates.

Also! Because it is student housing, expect a LOT of parties. If you are the type who doesn't like to be out partying all night, this place probably isn't for you. It gets quite loud at night (especially if you live next to the parking structure because people drive like idiots and set car alarms off several times a day). The walls are pretty thin.

But staff has always been friendly and efficient. Maintenance fixed any issues we had within a day or two.

Tl;dr' Sterling is convenient, but expensive. Great for people who party, wouldn't recommend for the quiet/more studious type or couple.
