Stonewood seemed to be a nice place to live from the ads, the tour, the price, the layout etc but once moved in, I was unhappy. The management changed from attentive and friendly to downright uncaring at best, rude b****es at worst. The ceiling in my bathroom caved in and our upstairs neighbor's water would just flow in our bathroom and it took several weeks to have it repaired. Our dishwasher and sink were always clogging and would take several calls to get fixed. Our rent raised so often and so much that we were paying more than people just moving into the apartments at one point. Parking is inadequate. We had one assigned spot but any extra cars or guests were out of luck. My car was broken into numerous times, as were nearly everyone I knew who lived there. This is no exaggeration. Several cars were stolen, including my roommate's. There were no security patrols and assigned parking in the carpoorts was completely out of sight from anyone but the criminals. Also, there was an insane man in the apartment next to us who would blast his music from 1 am to 7 am and lunge at women and masturbate in the bushes and we complained about him but it took three months to have him removed. Yet if someone else had a party or were loud, they'd be threatened with eviction immediately. I recommend this place if you're starting out, don't have a car, are a handyman and have a big security dog to guard your home. Otherwise, look elsewhere.
