Wish I Never Left

Years at this apartment: 2005 - 2007
I lived at The Timbers for at least 2 years, and now that I've moved I almost wish I were back. When I first moved there I rented the Jr 1 Bedroom, and yes it was small but the floor plan really opened it up the only drawback was the wall mounted ac unit- the apartment NEVER got cool! After 9 months we wanted to upgrade to the 2 Bedroom 2 Bath, and they were very helpful through the process...then after about 7 months in the larger apartment my boyfriend and I split up so I wanted to go down to a 1 Bedroom 1 Bath, and they were very understanding and even gave me a little discount since I was staying in their community. Besides the little things, like parking and the occcasional water shut-off (which didn't affect me too much since they were btwn the hours of 8 and 5, when most are at work), I liked living there. It was always quiet, the staff were always courteous and helpful, and the maintenace guy Douglas and his family were very nice and cheerful. I now live in a brand new complex still in Riverside, and when I moved I thought all the little probs would go away but they're still there but now they are handled horribly, and there are cars and apartments broken in to at least every two months or so.
