Though it maybe less expensive than the majority of apartments around the area, it is by no means a good deal. The new management at The Crest Apartments (as of 2003) is unreliable and unresponsive. Requests for repairs are considered with little urgency, often taking over a week to be responded to. The parking is hit or miss. You are assigned a permanent parking spot, but there is rarely any enforcement. Enforcement itself is highly suspect. Cars parked in their assigned locations have mistakenly been towed at great expense of time to the owner to be retrieved. The most disappointing and aggravating aspect of The Crest Apartments is the noise level. Rowdy tenants throwing loud drinking parties are a weekly occurence. Light fixtures lighting the walkways are constantly broken due to being kicked and thrown by intoxicated tenants. Broken glass often litter the unlit walkways, causing a security risk. Once again complaints to the management yield no action. Overall, the quality of The Crest Apartments is sub-par and not recommended.
