I lived here from 2003-2006 and I thought it wasnt worth the price at all. They kept increasing rent by 100 each year. I thought this was affordable student housing' They know they can rip students off because of its prime location (across the street from UCR). The grounds are poorly lit and makes it VERY unsafe for anyone walking alone at night time. My car was broken into and the managements (cynthias) response was uncaring and first thing she told me was how they werent responsible. I was just reporting it- I didnt want anything from them! Since the new management they have become more engaging with the tenants (mixers, BBQ's, and giveaways) but if thats why they increased the prices that much then they can keep those crappy hamburgers! College is a time to have fun and party- i know. But the tenants at this complex seem to think that this should be EVERY single night of the week. IT would have been nice to have an occasional Wednesday night to study in a noise free environment. There are pool times but no one follows them and you can be sure to wake up to noise around 3am from drunk people splashing around in the pool. Most of the management is shady (except Mike, hes honest and actually helpful) and is run in a corporate fashion. They only care about what profits themselves and I needed to call corporate office to get some issues resolved. If you have a maintenance problem make sure its not too important because they'll get to you by then end of the week, or so. The plumbing was so old and deteriorating that the cigarette smell from the tenants downstairs would rise through and come out of our sinks. Really gross. I just have negative memories looking back at this place and I wouldnt recommend it to anyone attending UCR. You want your housing situation to be the least of your worries, ESPECIALLY for this price. If they read this, I hope they can take constructive critism and work on these issues. qmzu4EHcaGAPVCPw2Fai
