I lived in this complex for four years. Generally speaking, it's gone downhill. Parking is next to impossible--expect to park in neighboring complexes or on the street if you have guests or more than one car. People are constantly moving in and out, which is why so many carports have toppled over. Lots of the apartments are overcrowded, which makes noise and parking even worse. Rent goes up in spurts--it went up $45 while I was there. What's funny is the apartments are actually losing value relative to other newer complexes in the area with similar pricing. Go there instead.

Personally, I used to be on good terms with the staff. I went around to a lot of apartment complexes with similar features, and they were the best at putting on a good face, so I thought that they were actually nice people. I can't tell you how wrong I was. I changed apartments, and the one they moved me into was much worse than my old apartment. Stained carpet, dirty drawers, dirty stove. All these problems were noted on my walk-through sheet. When I moved out, they took the vast majority of my deposit to fix these exact same problems! I managed to get the money for the carpet back, but expect to have a $112 flat rate cleaning charge deduction. No matter how hard you scrub, dust, or vacuum, they will find something, I promise. My suggestion: take pictures of everything that is wrong, and have them put in your file, with dates, so they can't foist their maintenance fees onto you! I always did everything by the book with these people, and when I moved out it became obvious how foolish that was. Do not believe management, do not trust them, make sure you get a walk-through, and don't expect any favors.
