i lived in windemere apartments for over two years, and moved out only because i moved to northern california. this is a great place to live, i can't believe all of the terrible reviews people have left, my experience here was completely positive.

the staff have always been courteous and helpful. all maintenance requests were taken care of the next business day at the latest. the grounds are kept clean, i have never seen the place littered so i have no idea why people are complaining about that' also, the property was in the process of being painted as i left, so it will soon be looking as good as new (although it wasn't bad to begin with!).

the pool is nice and the area around it is always clean. there is also a mister by the pool which is great on those scorching hot days in riverside.

the apartment was clean and freshly painted when i moved in...just like new. dishwasher and laundrey in the unit which was a plus (i don't have that where i'm living now and i miss it!)

it's true that there isn't much visitor parking, and it tends to fill up quick. but there is ample parking on the streets nearby if your guests don't mind a bit of a walk. as for the noise, it was not excessive at all in my opinion. the area is residential so it's pretty quiet. but it is an apartment complex so you can expect to hear your neighbours from time to time....as with any apartment complex. if you expect to live in an apartment in complete silence then you are expecting too much...it may be time to save up and buy a house.

all in all...i would recommend windemere. i'm sad to be leaving!
