This place looks nice on the outside, but don't be fooled. The management is in no hurry to create a safe and secure area in which people can live. There were several break-ins last summer (including our apartment), and management didn't seem to care, nor were they open to the idea of installing security cameras on the property, not even fake ones. And keep in mind that some of the other properties in the neighborhood do have security cameras.

Also, echoing what some other folks have said, don't expect your security deposit back. We just received our "cleaning" bill, which said the entire apartment had to be re-painted (it didn't need it), and the carpets needed to be cleaned (we never wore shoes on the carpets, didn't have pets, and cleaned them regularly). Also, they billed us for cleaning the entire apartment, which we did before we moved out. They didn't bother to recognize that our apartment was a model unit the day we moved in, and actually still contained all of the "props" the day we moved in (in other words, it wasn't even clean when we got it). No one did a walk-through with us when we moved in, and the lady who was supposed to do a walk-through before we moved out didn't bother to show up.

Spend a little more in rent and live at one of the other properties.
