still living here...

I've lived here for the past 6 months or so, and so far, it's been okay. Parking isn't bad on the weekends but during the week (esp at night), I would have to drive around several times to find a parking spot. When we first moved in, everything looked pretty good, though. Fresh paint, carpet, and tiling. The rooms are pretty spacious, as with the living room as well.

We haven't had a problem with ants or any type of bugs, except for a few stray ants in my bathroom (and that's only occasionaly). The patio is ugly... some concrete and a lot of ugly dirt and weeds. Rent isn't all that expensive. One of the worst parts of living here would be being able to hear my upstairs neighbors having sex. I can also sometimes faintly hear others flushing a toilet. I live right next to the gate, which also has a pedestrian door next to it. When people let it close or when it's windy, you will hear nonstop banging of a metal door. It's annoying.

The pool/jacuzzi area is clean but drab. The outside area of the apartments aren't all that nice, pretty plain. The manager Pam is nice, I GUESS, but she's not really pleasant to talk to. I try to avoid her at all costs. The security here writes you up for the smallest of "disturbances". It's unbelievable. One more and we get evicted. Once I even talked to the security personally and assured him that my company would leave if they were too loud, he said he would let it go... but the next morning, Pam is pounding on my door saying I had a "wild party". Eh. The main office is almost always closed whenever you need them.

Haven't had a problem with safety yet. But watch out, people here like to park in your designated parking spots (leaving you without anywhere to park!), and doublepark behind you (I had to get a car towed). Even with 2-3 bedroom apts, you only get one designated parking spot.
